The Department of Distance & Continuing Education, School of Open Learning, Campus of Open Learning, formerly known as The School of Correspondence Courses and Continuing Education, established under the University of Delhi in 1962, is a pioneer Institution in the field of Distance Education in India.   1. The Department of Distance & Continuing Education, School of Open Learning, Campus of Open Learning, University of Delhi has adopted PGCF-2025 (Under NEP 2020). The Curriculum and Syllabus of School of Open Learning is the same as offered across University of Delhi.
  2. As per Distance Education Board (DEB) guidelines, School of Open Learning has decided that admissions to its postgraduate programme(Except MBA, BLISc, MLISc and PGDADLM) will be based primarily on CUET-PG scores. In cases where candidates have not taken the CUET-PG Test, merit-based admissions will be considered as a fallback option, depending on availability of seats .
  3. The Last date to take admission is decided By UGC - DEB (Last date of admission will be notified).
  4. For Fee structure of programmes, Kindly refer to the Prospectus.
  5. For Eligibility criteria of the Programmes Offered , Kindly refer to the Prospectus.
  6. Admission to all PG Programmes offered by School of Open Learning for the Academic Session 2026-27 will be through (pgadmission.oldcdu.ac.in), based on the eligibility criteria and requirements laid down in the Prospectus and other rules as published by the SOL, University of Delhi on its website (https://sol.du.ac.in).
  7. The online application process will be considered completed only after the payment of the Admission fee.
  8. Candidates must check their Student Dashboard, Email, and Admission website (pgadmission.oldcdu.ac.in) for all communications, updates and schedules related to the admission process.
